Susanne Lockhart, M.D.

Dr. Susanne Lockhart, a board certified dermatologist, has been in private practice in North Dallas since 2000. She particularly enjoys having the opportunity to treat patients of all ages. She evaluates and treats a variety of general dermatological conditions including (but not limited to) anything from acne, eczema, psoriasis, birthmarks, moles, and rashes to diagnosing and treating skin cancers.

Dr. Lockhart received her B.S. in Biomedical Science from Texas A & M University in 1991. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She graduated from medical school with honors and was awarded membership in Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.

Dr. Lockhart completed her internal medicine internship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Her dermatology residency training was performed at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston where she served as chief resident.

Dr. Lockhart spends most of her time trying to keep up with 4 year old twins Cole and Ella. In her free time she enjoys yoga, running with her Weimaraner Josie, and heading to the mountains for skiing or hiking at any opportunity! She participates and supports the local SPCA in memory of her late husband Matt. She currently is accepting new patients.

Christie E. Matter, M.D.

Dr. Christie E. Matter is board certified in dermatology and has been in private practice in Plano since 1999. Dr. Matter enjoys seeing new and established patients of all ages with skin, hair and nail conditions.

Dr. Matter received, with honors, her B.S. degree in biology at University of North Texas in 1991. She then attended The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio where she received her Doctor of Medicine degree in 1995. She graduated with honors and with membership in Alpha Omega Alpha, an honorary medical society. She completed an internal medicine internship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.

Dr. Matter received her dermatology training at Duke University Medical Center and Southwestern Medical School. She served as chief dermatology resident at Parkland Hospital.

Dr. Matter is a well-rounded dermatologist who enjoys all aspects of general, surgical pediatric and geriatric dermatology. She recognizes the medical and psychological impact of skin diseases and aging and provides superb dermatologic diagnosis and treatment with empathy and compassion. She is committed to forming a long-term therapeutic partnership with her patients. Dr. Matter resides in Dallas and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.

Rachel Quinby, M.D.

Dr. Quinby is a board certified dermatologist who joined North Texas Dermatology after returning to her native state of Texas in 2005. Before that time she spent a year as a visiting professor of dermatology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. Prior to that, she was an assistant professor of dermatology at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois.

Dr. Quinby graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M with a B.S. in biomedical science in 1994. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 1998. While at UT Southwestern, she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society.

After her internal medicine internship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, she completed her dermatology residency at Northwestern University in Chicago. She served as chief resident during her last year. Dr. Quinby currently resides in Dallas with her husband, two daughters and a son.

Dr. Quinby is accepting new patients of all ages with a variety of conditions of the skin, and nails.

Carla Gustovich, M.D.

Dr. Carla Gustovich, a board certified dermatologist, grew up in Dallas and has been in private practice since 2004. She enjoys treating general, pediatric and geriatric dermatology. She derives satisfaction from building long term relationships with patients and treating all members of the family. She understands the emotional impact dermatologic diseases can have on patients, and treats them with compassion and understanding.

Dr. Gustovich received, with honors, her B.A. in Biology from Austin College in 1996. She then attended The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston where she received her Doctor of Medicine degree in 2000. She completed her internship at LBJ Hospital in Houston before returning to
Dallas for residency.

Dr. Gustovich completed her dermatology residency at the University of Texas at Southwestern in Dallas where she served as a chief resident.

Dr. Gustovich enjoys family time with her husband, two sons and daughter.

She is currently accepting new patients.

Allison Singer, M.D.

Dr. Allison Singer joined North Texas Dermatology in July 2011.  She brings over 12 years of experience from her successful Dallas practice.

Dr. Singer received, with honors, her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Tulane University. She then attended The University of Texas at Houston Medical School where she received her Doctor of Medicine degree, graduating with honors and membership in Alpha Omega Alpha, an honorary medical society. She remained in Houston to complete her internship in Internal Medicine at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

Dr. Singer then moved to Dallas to train in dermatology at Southwestern Medical School, where she served as chief resident at Parkland Memorial Hospital during her senior year. She finished her training in 1999 and remained on the faculty of Southwestern as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Dermatology for one year prior to going into private practice.

Dr. Singer’s professional interests include the medical treatment of skin disorders as well as pediatric and adolescent dermatology. She has additional interest in the prevention and treatment of skin cancers, nutritional supplementation for optimal health and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Singer also provides Botox Cosmetic injectible and Juvederm filler for the treatment of fine lines and wrinkles for her patients at the Richardson office. Learn More.

Dr. Singer has been honored as a D magazine Top Doctor, and appeared as a medical expert contributor in D Beauty, Cooking Light, People.com and Instyle.com.  She is also a four time beauty contributor for In Style Magazine’s Best Beauty Buys annual issue.  Dr. Singer was the dermatology expert selected for Lucky Magazine’s Upfront Event in New York providing skin care consultations to celebrities, publicists, media and VIP’s.

She values compassionate care and the long term relationships she builds with her patients. She also enjoys spending time with her husband Randy as well as exercising, personal nutrition and keeping fit.

Pam Murray
Physician Assistant

Pamela Murray, a board certified physician assistant, joined North Texas Dermatology in 2006. Prior to that, Pamela practiced clinical and cosmetic dermatology in Nashville, where she conducted numerous clinical studies for major pharmaceutical companies on the treatment of acne vulgaris. She treats skin, hair and nail disease – and administers Botox cosmetic, Botox for hyperhidrosis, Juvederm and Restylane treatments.

Pamela Murray graduated summa cum laude from Northeast Louisiana University in 1997 with a B.S. in biology. She completed her physician assistant training at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana, where she logged more than 2000 hours of patient care in dermatology. Mrs. Murray graduated in August 2002 with honors and was elected to the Alpha Eta Honor Society.

Pamela resides in Frisco, Texas and enjoys family time with her husband and two sons. She derives satisfaction from treating and educating her patients and making a difference in their lives. Pam currently accepts new patients.

Julie Darby
Physician Assistant

Julie Darby, a board certified physician assistant, graduated from the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2001. She then received a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS), with a focus in Dermatology from the University of Nebraska - after receiving a scholarship to do so from the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Julie's clinical exposures during schooling included dermatology, internal medicine, surgery, and emergency medicine. Many of these experiences were through the Parkland Hospital System. Julie worked as a medical assistant in dermatology for several years prior to her PA training. She has been practicing general & surgical dermatology in the Allen, McKinney, & Prosper areas for over 10 years prior to joining North Texas Dermatology in their Richardson location. She enjoys treating patients of all ages with a variety of skin, hair and nail conditions. She has a special interest skin cancer screenings and the treatment of psoriasis with biologic medications.

Julie enjoys snow skiing, hiking, and spending time with her husband Shawn, 2 daughters and son. She is accepting patients of all ages.
