ATTENTION

Kristine Kucera, PA-C, MPAS, DHS

Kristine Kucera is a physician assistant with North Texas Dermatology. She is clinically involved with the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of general dermatologic patients as well as the diagnosis, monitoring and therapy of individuals with skin cancer and psoriasis. Ms. Kucera is also a sub-investigator in multiple clinical trials.

Ms. Kucera attended the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies and completed her Master of Science degree through the University of Nebraska Physician Assistant Program where she specialized in Dermatology. Her Doctorate of Health Science degree was awarded in mid-2006 at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Ms. Kucera spent one year training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston before deciding to pursue her interest in dermatology. She has been practicing dermatology in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area for eighteen years.

She lectures nationally to colleagues on several dermatologic conditions and has a particular interest in the treatment of psoriasis. She also has had publications in peer reviewed journals, presented posters at national meetings, and is currently serving on the editorial board of the Journal of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Ms. Kucera also is an Adjunct Clinical Instructor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Physician Assistant Program and the University of North Texas Health Science Center.

She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, and Past President of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Kristine Kucera is in Richardson only, on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
